Princess One Point Five This Friday
Posted August 19, 2010
Hey folks,
We (Grow Up) are going to be playing in semi-acoustic mode this Friday at The Edinburgh Castle to help Melbourne’s Princess One Point Five launch their new album, along with Adelaide folk-rock choir Cheer Advisory Council.
Do try and come along, because this will be our last show for the foreseeable future before we take some time out to finish that pesky final 5% of our album and finalise a release.
So hopefully in a month or two or three we will at last have a shiny new record for you to call your own.
Single Is Launched!
Posted August 15, 2010
Well, we officially launched the first release from our forthcoming third album last night to an overwhelmingly lovely crowd at The Grace Emily. To that end, the double A-sidesingle is now available at shows in CD form where ‘Goodness Gracious!’ and ‘The Flowers’ are accompanied by two new acoustic tracks we couldn’t quite squeeze onto the album.
One might also download the whole thing for free right here: http://wegrowup.bandcamp.com
We were also lucky enough to play with our friends The British Robots for the first time in months, who gave everyone absolute chills with their set. So our unending appreciation to them, and to everyone who came out, cheered and occasionally sang along!
Ps. Thanks again to Danna Stoic for the excellent cover art.

We Grow Up release their anticipated double single, Goodness Gracious! and The Flowers at the Grace Emily on the 14th of August with The British Robots. It will be free entry (although you should really buy a single). The British Robots will be kicking things off at around 9pm.
In other news, Jon and Zoe recently did an interview/played a couple of songs on ‘The Range’ on Radio Adelaide. We talked to Mary about our changing line up and attempted to describe the sound of the new album. You can stream the interview and listen to live versions of new album tracks ‘Since You’re Always Running Through My Head’ and ‘My Wife Renee’ here!

Come along and find out with us at 8.30. We will be ably supported by The British Robots, who might be in acoustic or full band mode for the night (it’s a little up in the air at this stage). Either way, this should be a great night of free entertainment!
